Clipart of contract papers representing Breighton Cats Lodge Terms & ConditionsNo cat suffering from, or suspected to be suffering from, any infectious disease can be accepted.  All cats will be examined on arrival and the proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health pending advice from a Veterinary Surgeon.  Owners will appreciate that this is essential in order to safeguard the health of all cats boarded.

Please remember that only vaccinated cats/kittens can be accepted.   A current vaccination certificate (i.e. within the last 12 months) against Cat Flu and Feline Enteritis must be provided on arrival at the cattery.

We regret that male cats over the age of nine months, which have not been neutered, cannot be accepted for boarding.

VERY IMPORTANT                        SAFE AND SECURE CAT CARRIERS!!!!!!!!!

Please Note:  We take the safety and security of Cats during transportation very seriously.

We will not take responsibility for any cat that escapes from an ill-fitting or broken carrier during its transportation from the car to the safety of our secure safety corridors.

Many Cat Owners do not seem to understand the consequences of a broken carrier door or where there have been catches broken or lost. If the door opens/ falls out, or the carrier collapses and the cat escapes, 9 out of 10 cats will be impossible to catch and could be lost forever. Please do not think that you will automatically be able to pick up your own cat, it will find itself in unfamiliar surroundings and may take fright.

For the sake of a few pounds it is not worth the risk of loosing your cat.

Please be aware that whilst every effort is made to ensure that your cat is able to go straight into the chalet we have allocated for him/her on arrival, on very rare occasions, during our busiest periods, with unforeseen circumstances due to mishaps, flight delays and indeed peoples own lack of punctuality, there may be a very short delay which may incur the use of an alternative chalet or holding pen. This will at all times be kept to an absolute minimum, as it is our mission to ensure that all cats in our charge receive the very best care and attention at all times.
